Walk Thru the Bible Recap

Biblical literacy is foundational to the life of a disciple. “Changing lives that change the world” is the mission of BCM and educating students on God’s Word was the focus on January 25, 2020 ,at Marshall University. BCM groups from Alderson Broaddus, Concord, Fairmont State, Marshall and WVU came together for Walk Thru the Bible: Old Testament Live training. This is a day of learning about the Old Testament and an active learning experience. The 40 visual movements helped students better connect the stories of the Old Testament.

Walk Thru the Bible makes this statement: “…you’ll develop a deeper connection with the God who wants you to know Him and who will never stop pursuing your heart. The more you understand Hi story, the more you’ll realize it’s your story too. And the more you realize it’s your story, the more His words will change your life.”

The 90 students and adults that participated were challenged to allow God’s word to change their lives. One adult attendee said, “it does my spirit good to see college students on fire for God and His word”.

To cap off the great event, one student from Concord University indicated in his survey that he had given his life to Christ during the event!  What a great example of how God is using BCM to change lives that change the world!
